Atlasworxs "Mini CNC Machines will cater for a variety of budgets and applications. We are planning on releasing a range of CNC Routers to begin with, made of either MDF or Aluminium. The machines will be offered in full kits with an assembly manual for easy guidance. Future plans are to offer training in the use of the machines also, with spare parts available for fast delivery times to get you back cutting as quickly as possible.
The first to be released will be the "Atlasworxs Micro MDF" CNC Router. Designed in 3D CAD, this router in constructed from 18mm MDF Board, cut precisely on a larger CNC machine, straight from our CAD files. We have eliminated the need of screwing the parts together into the MDF by using our CNC Machined steel threaded bushes which have been oil blackened for protection against rust. The routers cutting area is X axis 620mm, Y axis 320mm and the Z axis is 75mm. The axes move on bearing blocks and linear shafts for smooth travel. This router will be ideal for someone starting out or the hobbiest model maker wishing to make their own parts.
