Small CNC Machined LED Light Housing

Another recent job of ours was to design a light housing for an LED Light. We received in the mail the components from our client and some ideas of what they were looking for. First job was to draw the components in CAD so we had something to reference from, then we went to work on the housing design. It needed to be water resistant so we had to incorporate an o ring seal so it would prevent water from entering the housing. It also needed to be simple and cost effective. We ended up going with a screw on cap instead of having a grommet hold the lense in place. The grommet would need machining anyhow so though that the small cost difference was well worth having the screw on cap, it would also hold the o ring in more securely.

Aluminium Scooter Clamps

Over the past couple of months we have been working with a client on a new Scooter Clamp Design. Our goal from the client was that it needed to have "Clean,Angled, Crisp edges" We began modeling this up in our 3D CAD first of all getting the basic shape outlined and then began on the cut outs. After a few attempts and emailing back and forth with our client we achieved the goal. Next stage is making the part, we designed some holding fixtures to hold the part at the different stages of machining. Once we knew how we were going to hold it, we programmed the CNC Machine to perform the individual operations that were required to machine the part to completion. Machining was complete, so the next stage was to send it out for Anodizing, our client had already pre picked the colours from our samples.
Now back from Anodizing, the next job was to machine the Logo on to the part. Again a holding fixture was needed and a special order of small slot drills so we could get into the spacing between the letters. As you can see, a good result all around. 3 - Way Adjustable Butt Assembly

Atlasworxs has recently completed another job for our client here in Western Australia. Its a 3 - Way Adjustable Butt Assembly. The idea is that it can be adjusted so the rear butt pad can move in and out, from side to side and also it can rotate.
The material used is AL6061 T6 and was manufactured on CNC Machines. If we add a Wegu Butt Pad to the assembly, it turns it into a 4 - Way Butt Assembly as the Wegu Butt Pad comes with an up and down adjustment.
If you have a design you would like designed and manufactured, why not contact us. We can discuss your requirements and we can let you know where and how we can help you.

Custom Designed Tube Gun

Atlasworxs has been working closely with Anglo Custom Riffle Company from the UK in designing a Tube Gun. Its to be constructed from AL6061 T6 aluminium with a hard anodized finish. In designing this product we have to take into account the weight of the finished item and also the adjustablity of the cheek pad and shoulder pad. It also had to fit existing actions and magazines the Anglo Custom has made.

The design is based around the current short action guard we make for Anglo Custom. We have extended it at the rear to attach the shoulder pad assembly and incorporated the grip to be attached by easy accessable screws.

All parts will be CNC Machined to precise tolerances which are programmed straight off our CAD files which are generated in our 3D CAD package.

Email us for any designs you may have in mind and take advantage of services.

Royal Wedding Gift Box

We were recently asked to manufacture some hinges for hand crafted wooden boxes for Hawthorne Crafts in Northern Ireland. The hinges we made were made from brass and aluminium. We were later told than a set of these hinges was used in a gift box that was hand crafted as a wedding gift for HRH Prince William and Catherine Middleton. You can watch a video of the box being made by Ian at Hawthorne Crafts on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYNxxRo4Jvg

Great Job Ian.

Aftermarket WRX Pitch Stoppers

Another batch of WRX Pitch Stoppers was completed this week. The body is made of AL6061 T6 with stainless steel and urethane bushes. The body was then anodized black and engraved with our customers logo. These are proving quite a hit with our customer.

Pitch Stoppers are designed to reduce engine movement, therefore transmitting more power to the ground.

Please let us know if you have any aftermarket parts that need manufacturing and we would be happy to offer you a quote. Please have a look on our site for other examples of our work or email info@atlasworxs.com for more information.

Stainless Steel Muzzle Brakes

Atlasworxs have just completed a prototype set of "Stainless Steel Muzzle Brakes" for a Riffle Company in the UK. We were given the desgn specs for the Muzzle Brakes and went to work on the 3D CAD. After a few design changes and emails our customer was happy for us to proceed.

There were two stages to the machining process, first they were put in the lathe and all the lathe work was completed leaving just the webs to be machined out. We manufactured a holding fixture for them to be held in the machining centre and then finished the machining process.

Almost complete, we had them bead blasted for a great looking finish.

We offer a complete Manufacturing Service from the design stage right through to surface finishing and delivery. Please send us your RFQ or Inquiry to info@atlasworxs.com or visit our site to see what else we do.
